Crowflight Provides Bucko Lake Nickel Project Update
Thursday May 8, 7:30 am ET


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 8, 2008) - CROWFLIGHT MINERALS INC. (Crowflight, the Company) (TSX VENTURE:CML - News) today provided a project update for the Bucko Lake Nickel Project (Bucko) that is currently under development outside Wabowden, Manitoba.

Work is progressing steadily on the surface facilities at Bucko, with much of the current activity focused on the processing plant. Most of the processing plant equipment is on-site, with some electrical components due to arrive in the next two months. The jaw and cone crusher are in place with structural steel for the crushing circuit progressing. The conveyors are on-site and the conveyor sections should be installed between now and June. Installation of the fine ore bin is expected to begin shortly. Mechanical installation of the rod and ball mill is close to completion, as is the mechanical installation of the flotation circuit. The concentrate filter is in place, electrical work on the plant's interior has begun and piping is expected to start shortly.

In addition to work on the processing plant, the area for the Interim Tailings Storage Facility (ITSF) has been cleared and the geotechnical and design work is complete.

Underground Development

The new portal for the underground ramp is progressing with completion expected by the end of May.

Two diamond drills are currently underground undertaking definition and delineation drilling on the 1,000 foot level. It is expected that the geotechnical information and assay results from this drilling should assist in optimizing the geotechnical design and upgrading the mineable reserve. The development underground on the 1,000 foot level has progressed to the point that the larger mining equipment is ready to be transported underground and then assembled to finish the remaining work on that level and the ramps to other levels.

Paul Keller, Crowflight's VP of Operations and COO, said: "A tremendous amount of progress has been made at Bucko since beginning construction in November 2006. Our staff, contractors and consultants have been working tirelessly to bring Bucko into production in the third quarter of 2008 and we look forward to achieving this goal."

The operating costs, including on-site and off-site costs, are projected to be $4.32 per pound of nickel produced, using a US$:Cdn$ exchange rate of 1:1.The capital cost for the Bucko Lake Nickel Deposit development is now expected to be Cdn$86 million net of pre-production revenue, assuming a US$:Cdn$ exchange rate of 1:1. This compares to the Feasibility Study estimate of Cdn$66.0 million at an exchange rate of 0.8:1.

The cost differences are attributable to the following: Cdn$6.7 million due to capital development timing, the addition of the ITSF, the ramp portal and surface connection to the underground internal ramp; Cdn$3.0 million for increased surface infrastructure EPCM (Engineering Procurement and Construction Management); and Cdn$10.5 million for additional processing plant equipment, foreign exchange differences and increased structural steel and concrete foundation costs.

The inclusion of the ramp portal, the ITSF and additional processing plant equipment, which will enable the processing plant to process up to 1,500 tonnes of ore per day, were not included in the original scope of the Feasibility Study. The ramp connection to surface will open new production areas sooner in the life-of-mine schedule and will provide operational flexibility. The addition of the ITSF is necessary to begin operations in 2008 due to delays in the federal permitting of Bucko Lake as a tailings storage facility (see Press Release dated March 28, 2008).

Mike Hoffman, Crowflight's President and CEO, said: "One striking advantage of Bucko compared to other mining projects currently being developed throughout the world is that the overall capital costs are moderate in relation to future expected cash flow, especially considering that nickel prices have recently averaged US$12-14 per pound. Many of the cost increases are attributable to scope changes not included in the original Feasibility Study and are designed to add further value to the Bucko Project. These enhancements are necessary to tap into the further potential we believe exists at Bucko. Some of the other cost increases, such as steel and concrete, are consistent with those of other companies currently building mines."

During 2007, Cdn$35.3 million was spent on Bucko construction, which includes the main electrical installation, hoist and headframe installation, processing plant foundations and steel, shaft de-watering and rehabilitation, rehabilitation of the 1000 Level exploration drift, purchasing new and used equipment, refurbishing used equipment and EPCM to date.

Krähe Flugangst. Also, Rakete in den A.... und ab in den Himmel. Ist im Moment das Einzige, was hilft.

sie hält sich wunderbar und nimmt nur anlauf , der erste anstieg war doch nicht schlecht , kurs wird in can gemacht und der steht wenn ich mich nicht irre 0,78 cent ,also locker bleiben, ne kleine konso tut der krähe nur gut .bin guter dinge das wir alle wenn wir gedult haben und dies als langfristiges investment sehen sauuuuuuuu reich werden , wenn bowden mit exploren fertig ist und ne resourcen schätzung vor liegt und wenn man da auch in produktion  geht ,geht es ab hier , meines wissens ist da 10 mal mehr nickel im boden wie jetzt bei buko lake. und jedem sollte klar sein das dann crow wieder anderst bewertet wird .ach ja sollte einer nicht wissen zu wem "bowden" gehört der ziehe sich diese wörter rein -----zu 100 % crowflight minerals -----    

eingeschlichen .... 0,74 cent , die 0,78 war ein olt heut mittag , macht aber auch nichts crow geht seinen weg , außer der dritte weltkrieg bricht aus hi hi  

bei Neubewertung wenn Crow erst mal Produzent ist, sind kurse drin um die 2 - 5 Euro drin ;))) und dann will ich in ein paar Jahren kurse um die 10 - 30 Euro sehen ;)  

Neue Kaufstudie von Versant für Crowflight Minerals
(CAD-Kürzel CML): Die Analysten sehen einen fairen
Wert von 1,10 CAD für den angehenden Nickelproduzenten.
Für 2008 erwartet man bereits einen Nettogewinn von über
36 Mio. CAD, der in 2009 auf 77 Mio. CAD springen soll,
um von 2010 bis 2015 sukzessive von 73 Mio. CAD auf
20,7 Mio. CAD zu sinken. Dies allerdings nur deshalb, weil
man keinerlei Explorationsupgrade auf der Bucko Lake Mine
unterstellt. Crowflight ist auf dem aktuellen Niveau als
Nickelproduzent spottbillig! Dies dürfte nun nicht mehr
lange so bleiben. Denn als größerer Produzent wird man in
naher Zukunft ganz andere Investorenschichten gewinnen
können, die im Explorationsstadium entweder nicht kaufen
dürfen oder wollen.

Man konnte schön sehen wie in canada am freitag der kurs
zum ende schön angestiegen ist mit über 1 Mio. gehandelte Stücke.
Ich denke wir haben nochmals einen kleinen Boden gebildet und
werden nun über die 50cent steigen.
Die Börsen stehen ja nun auf grün und crowflight wird
davon profitieren und bald bei 60 oder 70 cent stehen.
Die Nickelbestände haben auch leicht abgenommen und
ich kann nur sagen kaufen kaufen !
Anhand der Grafik kann man sehen das wir charttechnik
sehr gut da stehen und wir bestenfalls nochmal auf 45 cent fallen
doch dann sollte es bis 55 cent durchgehen.
Wir werden vielleicht schon morgen über 50 cent stehen.  

der Zeit bis unsere Krähe das Fliegen lernt. Bin aber überzeugt, dass wir den Großteil des Wartens schon hinter uns haben. Dann sollte es aber Schlag auf Schlag gehen.

Crowflight's Final Results From Winter Exploration Drilling Further Indicate Potential to Expand Bucko Project and Satellite Deposits

(Crowflight, the Company) (TSX VENTURE:CML - News) today announced final assay results from its 2008 winter exploration drilling program in the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba. Results include hole HW08-11 drilled at Halfway Lake that intersected 15.12 metres (49.6 feet) grading 1.24% nickel, as well as other encouraging assay results from the Halfway Lake and Bucko North target areas.
A key objective of the 2008 winter exploration program was to identify additional sources of potential mill feed proximal to the Company's Bucko Lake Nickel Project (Bucko), located outside Wabowden, Manitoba. The program was successful in identifying new occurrences of mineralization at Halfway Lake, the M11A North Zone and the Bucko North target. These areas are located 20 kilometres, 5 kilometres, and 400 metres respectively from the mill at Bucko, which is scheduled to commence production by the third quarter of 2008.
In summary, 21 holes for a total of 8,200 metres were completed during the winter program. Please refer to Figure 1 for a map depicting the drilling locations and Table 1 for a summary of new and previously-released assays for the 2008 winter program.

Intersection intervals reported are core lengths; actual true widths are unknown at this time but are generally 70 to 80% of core length. Once known, true widths are calculated for each intersection. These could vary somewhat from time to time as the zones are re-interpreted thereby altering the geometry.
Greg Collins, Vice President of Exploration for Crowflight Minerals, commented on the results of the winter program stating: "The results from the winter exploration program continue to demonstrate the potential of our 700 square kilometre land package in the Thompson Nickel Belt. Drilling at the M11A Zone resulted in the discovery of a new high grade lens, less than 5 kilometres north of milling operations at Bucko. At Halfway Lake, drilling confirmed extensions that we expect to enhance the grade and tonnage of the current resource. Drilling on the Bucko Lake North intrusion has confirmed the presence of higher grade nickel sulphide mineralization at depth less than 400 metres north from the planned underground workings at Bucko. These activities are positive developments for our Company in that they further expand our options for growth at our soon-to-be producing Bucko mine in Wabowden."
Discussion of Results
Halfway Lake
At Halfway Lake, 11 holes totaling 4,529 metres were completed. Highlights include hole HW08-02, intersecting 13.03m grading 1.58% nickel (previously released) and hole HW08-11 which intersected 15.12m grading 1.24% nickel, including 7.14m grading 1.57% nickel. Drilling has confirmed extensions to the previously identified resource that are expected to enhance the grade and tonnage of the known resource.
M11A Zone
Near the M11A target, three holes totaling 1,315 metres were completed. Highlights include hole M08-03, a new high grade lens located beneath the known M11A North resource which intersected 26.7m grading 1.30% nickel including 5.76m grading 3.06% nickel (previously released). Holes M08-01 and M08-02 targeted other portions of the M11A intrusion located more than 500 metres south of the mineralization intersected in M08-03.
Bucko North
Drilling on the Bucko North target included the completion of four holes totaling 1,638 metres. Two holes investigated the near surface potential of the intrusion for condemnation purposes and have confirmed that there is no open pit potential beneath the site of the future tailings storage area. Deeper drilling targeting areas 300 metres below surface confirmed the presence of higher grade nickel sulphide mineralization first identified by drilling in 2007. Hole BX07-01 intersected 7.5 metres grading 0.78% nickel including 1.5m grading 2.19% nickel (previously released). Highlights from hole BX08-04 include narrow intervals of nickel sulphide mineralization containing up to 2.31% nickel. The results of the 2008 program indicate that future work on this target located 400 metres north of planned workings at Bucko may be best achieved once underground access from the Bucko Mine is available.
Apex Zone
Near the Apex target, three holes for 718 metres were completed. The holes were drilled to test exploration targets located more than 500m north and south of the previously defined resource at Apex. One hole (AP08-02) was lost in casing and did not reach its target objective. Holes AP08-01 and AP08-03 intersected magnetic gneiss, explaining the targeted geophysical anomaly. The resource potential at Apex zone remains open for expansion at depth.
Results from this program will be used to generate updated resource calculations at Halfway Lake and M11A North and be used to further refine the focus of resource expansion drilling near Bucko.
2008 Summer Drilling Program at Manibridge
Crowflight and Pure Nickel plan to commence drilling nickel exploration targets identified close to the past-producing Manibridge Mine in early June. Results from this program will be released through the summer and early fall of 2008 as they become available.
Underground Drilling at Bucko
Crowflight continues to conduct underground drilling from the 1,000 foot level of the Bucko Lake Nickel Project, with the intent of obtaining further geotechnical information on the deposit and upgrading the mineral resource and reserve estimates. It is expected that results from this program will be released through the late spring and fall of 2008 as they become available.
Qualified Person/Quality Control Procedures
This press release has been prepared and reviewed by Mr. Greg Collins, P.Geo (APGO/APEGM), who is the Vice President Exploration of the Company and a Qualified Person under the National Instrument 43-101 guidelines. Fire assays were performed at the ALS-Chemex laboratory in Vancouver on all the samples for Gold and PGEs which undergo an ICP-AES finish and Sodium Peroxide Fusion. All other metals undergo an ICP-AES finish at the ALS-Chemex laboratory in Vancouver. Standards and blanks are submitted with each sample batch.

Intersection Abständen gemeldet sind zentrale Längen, die tatsächlich wahr Breiten unbekannt sind in dieser Zeit aber sind in der Regel 70 bis 80% der Kern-Länge. Sobald bekannt ist, wahre Breite werden berechnet für jeden Schnittpunkt. Diese könnten ein wenig variieren von Zeit zu Zeit wie die Zonen sind neu interpretiert und damit eine Änderung der Geometrie.

Diskussion der Ergebnisse
Halfway Lake
Auf halbem See, 11 Löcher in Höhe von insgesamt 4529 Metern wurden fertig gestellt. Highlights zählen Loch HW08-02, kreuzende 13.03m Einstufung von 1,58% Nickel (vorher freigegeben) und Loch HW08-11 die sich 15.12m Einstufung von 1,24% Nickel, einschließlich 7.14m Einstufung von 1,57% Nickel. Bohren Erweiterungen hat bestätigt, dass die zuvor identifizierten Ressource, die voraussichtlich zur Verbesserung der Qualität und Menge der bekannten Ressource.
M11A-Zone
In der Nähe des M11A Ziel, drei Löcher in Höhe von 1315 Metern wurden fertig gestellt. Highlights zählen Loch M08-03, eine neue hochwertige Objektiv befindet sich unter der bekannten M11A Nord-Ressource, die zusammentrafen 26.7m Einstufung von 1,30% Nickel einschließlich 5.76m Einstufung von 3,06% Nickel (vorher freigegeben). Löcher M08-01 und M08-02 gezielte andere Teile der M11A Intrusion befindet sich mehr als 500 Meter südlich der Mineralisierung intersected in M08-03.
Bučko Nord
Bohren in der Nord-Bučko Ziel gehörten die Fertigstellung der vier Löcher in Höhe von 1638 Metern. Zwei Löcher untersucht die oberflächennahen Potenzials der Eingriff für Zwecke Verurteilung und haben bestätigt, dass es keine offene Grube Potenzial unter dem Gelände des künftigen Bergematerial Lagerraum. Tiefere Bohrungen gezielt Bereiche 300 Meter unter der Oberfläche bestätigt Anwesenheit von höheren Besoldungsgruppe Nickel-Sulfid-Mineralisierung zum ersten Mal durch Bohrungen in 2007. Hole BX07-01 durchschnitt 7,5 Meter Einstufung von 0,78% Nickel, einschließlich 1,5 m Einstufung von 2,19% Nickel (vorher freigegeben). Highlights von Loch BX08-04 gehören engen Abständen von Nickel-Sulfid-Mineralisierung mit bis zu 2,31% Nickel. Die Ergebnisse der 2008-Programm deuten darauf hin, dass die künftige Arbeit auf dieses Ziel befindet sich 400 Meter nördlich der geplanten Arbeiten im Mai Bučko am besten erreicht werden, sobald unterirdischen Zugang vom Bučko Mine zur Verfügung steht.
Apex-Zone
In der Nähe des Apex Ziel, drei Löcher für 718 Meter wurden fertig gestellt. Die Löcher wurden gebohrt, um Explorations-Ziele befindet sich mehr als 500 m nördlich und südlich der zuvor definierte Ressource an der Spitze. Ein Loch (AP08-02) wurde verloren im Gehäuse und nicht ihr Ziel erreichen Ziel. Löcher AP08-01 und AP08-03 intersected magnetischen Gneis, erläutert die gezielte geophysikalischen Anomalie. Die potenzielle Ressource im Apex-Zone bleibt offen für eine Expansion in der Tiefe.

Sommer 2008 Drilling Program Manibridge
Crowflight und Reinnickel Plan zur Aufnahme der Bohr-Nickel Exploration Ziele identifiziert nahe der Vergangenheit produzierenden Manibridge Mine Anfang Juni. Ergebnisse aus diesem Programm wird durch die im Sommer und frühen Herbst 2008, sobald sie verfügbar sind.
U-Bohren in Bučko
Crowflight weiter zu führen unterirdische Bohrungen aus dem 1000 Fuß Höhe der Bučko Lake Nickel Project, mit der Absicht der Erlangung von geotechnischen weitere Informationen über die Hinterlegung und den Ausbau der mineralischen Ressourcen-und Reserve-Schätzungen. Es wird erwartet, dass die Ergebnisse aus diesem Programm wird durch den späten Frühling und im Herbst 2008, sobald sie verfügbar sind.
Qualifizierte Person / Quality Control Verfahren

München (aktiencheck.de AG) - Der Nickelpreis ist in der letzten Woche auf den niedrigsten Stand seit Februar dieses Jahres gefallen, ging dann aber unverändert aus der Woche, so die Experten von "BörseGo" in ihrem "Rohstoff-Report". Stützend habe sich ein Rückgang der LME-Lagerbestände auf den Nickelpreis ausgewirkt. Das erste Mal seit Anfang März seien die Nickelvorräte in London unter die 50.000-Tonnen-Grenze gefallen. Auf Seiten der Nachrichten habe in der letzten Woche ThyssenKrupp AG auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. Der größte Stahlhersteller Deutschlands habe einen Anstieg des Auftragseingangs um 40% im vierten Quartal 2007 und im ersten Quartal 2008 gemeldet. Viele Stahlhändler hätten in den vergangenen Monaten ihre Lagerbestände geleert und würden nun beginnen, diese durch neue Einkäufe wieder aufzufüllen.
