Avalon Oil & Gas, Inc., (OTCBB:AOGS) ("Avalon") has appointed industry veteran William D. Anderson as an advisor to Avalon and to Avalon's Board of Directors.
Mr. Anderson has twenty-eight years of oil and gas industry experience, focused primarily on business development, strategic planning, property evaluation and technical management. He has extensive knowledge of the oil and gas industry worldwide, with both technical and financial expertise.

Mr. Anderson was a supervising reservoir engineer for Exxon from 1990 to 1993. From 1993 to 1997 he was a Senior Vice President and Partner with Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc., where he was a major contributor to the transformation of a small domestic property evaluation company to an integrated petroleum consulting firm with worldwide capabilities, with 106 professionals (including 32 engineers and 11 geoscientists). From 1997-2006 he was Executive Vice President and CEO to Wynn-Crosby Energy, Inc. where he was responsible for business development, operational planning, and direct supervision of the engineering, geo-science, and land departments. Major basins of activity were South Texas Gulf Coast, Permian, Anadarko, East Texas/North Louisiana, and Arkoma. He successfully implemented a growth strategy aimed at maximizing investor return while effectively balancing risk with rewards. Since 2005 Mr. Anderson has been president of Anderson O & G, Inc., a consulting and advisory company.
