Everyone can file a claim against nortel, even you can. But that doesn't mean court will approve it and you got payed.
So as far till now, ALL approved debt is payed, and leaves 3.5 billion $ left atleast. There is also around 1 billion on Nortels account, so makes 4.5 Billion cash.
And since nortel company STOP, so no restart, all the cash goes to the shareholders.
Let say, in worse case, still 3 billion in debt will approved, leaves still 1.5 billion
that is at minimum 3 $ / share.
Why you think hedgefunds are buying all they can?? Cuzz it is wurthless???
