Urex Energy Announces Manager for Its New Central Asia-Europe Initiative Wednesday November 1, 4:30 pm ET
RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Urex Energy Corporation (the "Company" or "Urex") (OTCBB: URXE - News) is pleased to announce that Dr. Amer Smailbegovic has agreed to join Urex as manager of its new Central Asia-Europe Initiative. Dr. Smailbegovic received a Bachelors of Science in Geology (1997) from Charleston College, Charleston, South Carolina and a Ph.D. in Geophysics (2001) from the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada. Dr. Smailbegovic is also President of TeraElement Ltd. of Reno, Nevada, a consulting company that provides technical services to the mining and mineral industry. His work history includes Senior Scientist for Geophysics and Remote Sensing at SpecTir Corporation, Research Fellow at the Arthur Brant Laboratory for Exploration Geophysics, and Special Projects Assistant with the South Carolina/NASA Space Grant Consortium.
Dr. Smailbegovic will take charge of Urex's new initiative in Central Europe-Asia which is designed to screen for opportunities related to nuclear minerals. Dr. Smailbegovic is fluent in four languages with a significant contact network and specialized knowledge of the region's mining laws and geology.
