Adriana Resources Inc. and UNOR Inc. Announce UNAD Uranium Joint Venture

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 3, 2006) - Adriana Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ADI - News; "Adriana") and UNOR Inc. (TSX VENTURE:UNI - News; "UNOR") are pleased to announce the staking of twenty-four claims (M 12-27 and CD 18-25) that cover approximately 45,420 acres (18,380 hectares). The Companies have agreed to form the UNAD Uranium Joint Venture, a 50/50 Uranium Joint Venture project between the Companies to explore these properties.
The properties are located on the eastern edge of the Hornby Bay Basin, Nunavut, adjoining Adriana's Bear Valley and MIE Projects, and UNOR's Coppermine River Property. These claims include several historic uranium occurrences cited in assessment reports and theses including: Munch Lake, Bear Valley, and Tabb. A map displaying the location of the UNAD Uranium Joint Venture ground positions is attached, and is also available for viewing at Adriana's and UNOR's websites.
Uranium deposit target types include: polymetallic (Cu, Ni, Co, As, U) veins in Paleoproterozoic basement rocks; the basal unconformity of the Hornby Bay Group, and remobilized uranium mineralization within the overlaying Hornby Bay and Dismal Lakes Groups sediments, located proximal to major faults.
The UNAD Uranium Joint Venture properties will be explored subject to the 50/50 Uranium Joint Venture, with UNOR operating the CD claims that adjoin the Coppermine River property to the north and east, and Adriana operating the M claims located along the eastern boundary of UNOR's Coppermine River property.
