Xemplar Announces Shareholder Approval Of Acquisition
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, August 15, 2012 - Xemplar Energy Corp. (the “Company”) (TSXV symbol: XE) shareholders approved the company's previously announced change of business (COB) transaction at the special meeting of shareholders convened on Aug. 15, 2012.
Pursuant to the COB, the company will acquire inventory and certain land, machinery, and equipment used for the growing, harvesting, sale and exporting of pecan crops in southwest Texas. The acquisition is expected to be completed on or about Aug. 29, 2012.
Trading of the shares of the company remain halted and will be reinstated upon receipt by the TSX Venture Exchange of satisfactory documentation to effect a resumption of trading.
Further information regarding the acquisition and the COB can be found in the company's management information circular dated July 20, 2012, a copy of which has been filed by the company on the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) and will be available under the company's profile.
