Among broker action, SG Cowen raised its rating on BEA Systems to "outperform" from "market perform," citing expectations of accelerated revenue growth amid improving feedback regarding its new portal and integration software products." The broker added that while competition in the application server market is still a concern, it has appeared to stabilize for the time being, as Oracle "has yet to gain traction," and IBM's version is "not at potent as feared." BEAS rose 2.3 percent to $13.94.

UBS raised its rating on ATI Technology to buy from neutral and lifted its price target to $19.50. "We believe the prospects of Intel licensing ATI graphics IP and of continued product leadership over NVDA in the next 12-24 months will lead to continued valuation expansion," the broker said.

Wer immer SG Cowen ist, aber auf BEA Systems geb ich nicht viel.
Ihr Produkt ist
1) Zu teuer
2) fehlerhaft (die muessen alle 1/2 Jahre eine neue Version rausbringen)
Der Support ist schlecht!

UBS im Gegenzug hat allerdings Recht, dass ATI derzeit Nvidia den 1. Rang ablaeuft.
