DAVIE, Fla., Sept. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- China Direct Trading Corporation's (OTCBB:CHDT) wholly-owned subsidiary, China Pathfinder Fund, L.C. (CPF) has become a distributor for United Power Equipment Co, Ltd., located in Fozhou, China. CPF will carry small unit generators from 500 watts to large 50 kilowatt units, which are capable of running an entire home or business including air conditioners.
The company expects to announce its new sales manager in the coming days and will begin marketing these products to electrical supply contractors, generator retailers, U.S. government agencies, equipment rental companies, and mass merchants, especially throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The company will also market to East Coast homeowners with emphasis on the 50KW unit that will run an entire home for under $8,000, which the company believes is more cost-effective than many competitive generators in the U.S. market.
