Ultra Choice Water Selects U.S. Manufacturer of New Product Line Wednesday September 14, 8:00 am ET
RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 14, 2005 -- Ultra Choice Water, Inc. (UCW), the fourth portfolio company of HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News), today confirmed an official agreement with a U.S. manufacturer to provide the company with their initial shipment of household water filtration units.
Approximately 800 Counter-Top and Under-Sink Units are expected to arrive at the UCW distribution center in Apex, N.C., in October. The units themselves are recyclable to fulfill HydroFlo's continued commitment to maintaining a clean environment. The new systems filter water directly from any household sink, and each unit can be fitted with a pre-filtration system to extend its life. They remove the first layer of sediment to ensure the purification units work to maximum capacity.
UCW Chief Operating Officer, Deanna Britt, was extremely pleased about the recent contract, "UCW will now be able to offer water filtration products to all customers. We are looking forward to fulfilling the numerous orders already pending within our database, and to receiving many more over the coming years."
The first systems are set to retail at approximately $150.00 per unit and will be featured on the UCW website, which is currently under construction. The website, upon completion can be accessed at www.ultrachoicewaterinc.com. These products are set to go on sale by November of this year.
Dennis L. Mast, Chief Executive Officer of HydroFlo, explains his concern for the lack of manufacturing jobs in the United States. He states his desire to place job opportunities both in this country as well as abroad, "Manufacturing jobs have constantly been outsourced to foreign nations, depleting the base of work in the U.S. Few large manufacturing contracts are even offered to U.S. product developers. It is my goal to bring jobs back to this country, as well as spread opportunities worldwide."
