Hi Leute,

The U.S. Patent Office has Allowed 20 Patent Claims Covering the
Apparatus and Methods for Providing Emergency Safety Lighting

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., February 20, 2007 ? Today, Cyberlux
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CYBL), a developer and manufacturer of solid-state diodaltm lighting solutions, announced approval by the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office of 20 claims of uniqueness for its emergency lighting device designed for use in hospital patient rooms, hotel guest rooms and elder care occupant suites.

The Power-Outage Adapter is a replacement for the traditional wall mounted electrical outlet although it continues to serve as a receptacle for plug-ins of lamps or vacuum cleaners. The unique device is an ?intelligent? wall outlet that features a constant charge battery, three distinctly different sensors, two amber diodes and one ultra-bright white diode. One of the sensors is positioned to detect motion in the space which activates the
lower lens containing two amber diodes. The gentle amber light provides navigation illumination at floor level. The second sensor is programmed to detect power loss in the building?s electrical system which activates a single ultra-bright diode in the upper lens thereby directing a flood of light up the attendant wall surface which reflects off of the ceiling to illuminate the space with a bright white light. The third sensor is positioned to
detect ambient light in the space which overrides activation of the lighting elements when no further light is needed. The constant charge battery operates the system for up to sixty
hours and is promptly recharged when power is restored.

Conventional emergency lighting sources are ?evacuation lights? found in the hallways and lobbies of commercial buildings. These lights perform for under 90 minutes and are designed to provide pathway lighting during evacuation of burning buildings. In today?s environment of power outages caused by downed power lines or grid failures, hallway and lobby evacuation lights are inadequate to provide sufficient interim lighting for the
safety of hotel guests, hospital patients and occupants of elder care facilities. The Power-Outage Adapter is a practical solid-state semiconductor solution for guest and patient
lighting safety and may be hard-wired into new construction or adapted by interface with an existing wall outlet for retrofit purposes.

?These new emergency lighting patent claims provide Cyberlux products with another significant technology platform. We are working closely with Isolite Corporation in
Berwyn, PA to include the Power-Outage Adapter into its broad line of emergency lighting products for assembly and distribution,? observed Mark Schmidt, President of Cyberlux. ?Isolite is an internationally preferred supplier of emergency lighting that has
its products routinely specified for new construction or renovation projects,? continued Schmidt.

Light emitting diodes (LEDs) are durable, energy efficient, cool to the touch and last more than 100 times longer than conventional incandescent bulbs. The solid-state semiconductors are typically used in automobile dashboards and electronic devices such
as mobile phones. In addition to the Power-Outage Adapter, Cyberlux has developed a range of LED lighting products for residential, commercial, military and homeland security markets

Cyberlux Corporation Completes Field Testing of BrightEye Portable Lighting System with United States Air Force

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cyberlux Corporation (Nachrichten) (BULLETIN BOARD: CYBL), a leading provider of LED lighting solutions, announced today that the Company has successfully completed the field testing of the new BrightEye high-performance solid-state LED lighting system conducted by the United States Air Force Air Mobility Battlelab at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The new BrightEye VaC Portable Illumination System is the latest product developed by Cyberlux to fulfill the recent USAF contract for portable, battery-powered visible and covert lighting systems.

As part of the new product introduction process, the USAF Air Mobility Battlelab conducts rigorous field testing of new products in environments that simulate actual usage. The BrightEye lighting system was tested in both visible and covert lighting modes that demonstrated an advanced security lighting capability for force protection or first responders; operated as an equipment maintenance illumination system; and performed as a ground operations lighting source for a C-130 aircraft. All testing scenarios exceeded Air Mobility Battlelab requirements, including operating surface illumination, system battery-power runtime, deployment set-up times and system weight.

Importantly, the illumination capacity of the BrightEye was measured during the field test by the research unit of the USAF. The Air Force Research Laboratory determined that two BrightEye systems working in tandem will provide an equivalent level of operational lighting as the currently specified FL-1D floodlights that are used across all Armed Services.

"Cyberlux is a leader in advanced solid-state lighting system development as demonstrated by the BrightEye System's performance during the recent field testing," said Mark Schmidt, president and chief operating officer for Cyberlux. "Exceeding all the Air Mobility Battlelab requirements is a significant achievement for the Company's innovative lighting technology. Now that the light-weight, portable battery-powered BrightEye solid-state lighting system is capable of replacing existing floodlights on appropriate Armed Services missions, we have a tremendous market for these Cyberlux products."

The BrightEye VaC Portable Illumination System is designed as a portable visible and infrared night-vision compatible illumination system for first responders, force protection, aircraft maintenance, expeditionary airbase protection, general mission lighting and other portable, high-intensity lighting applications. Contained in an easily deployed wheeled carrying case and using advanced optics, battery power and advanced solid-state lighting technology, the BrightEye system is capable of eliminating the space-consuming bulk, noise and energy consumption issues associated with the current generator-powered incandescent lighting systems. Moreover, the BrightEye provides both standard white lighting and covert night-vision compatible lighting which is not available in the traditional FL-1D floodlight.

Cyberlux Corporation Completes First Hybrid Lighting Technology Prototype Demonstration

RESEARCH TRIANGLE, N.C., May 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cyberlux Corporation (Nachrichten) (BULLETIN BOARD: CYBL), a developer and manufacturer of solid- state lighting solutions, announced today that the Company has produced the first prototype of its Hybrid Lighting Technology (HTL) and demonstrated the initial capabilities in a laboratory environment. The prototype lighting device combined the Scattered Photon Extraction(TM) (SPE) technology acquired from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with the hybrid organic / inorganic white and multi-color lighting technology acquired from the University of California-Santa Barbara to achieve the Company's 'Proof of Principle' milestone. This one-of-a-kind lighting technology is exclusively licensed and proprietarily owned by Cyberlux Corporation.

The prototype lighting device was constructed from an SPE-optimized reflective fixture encapsulating a 465nm solid-state photon pump emitter that excited the downconversion lens to produce visible light in a range of color temperatures. The HTL lighting device was tested with two downconversion lens types, including a luminescent polymer lens and two hybrid inorganic/organic lenses for performance comparison and prototype optimization purposes. As the HTL technology progresses through the next series of commercialization milestones, the Company will publish results that are anticipated to exceed existing lighting fixture efficiencies. Cyberlux will commercialize the resulting proprietary lighting technology as "Hybrid White Light" (HWL) and "Hybrid Multi-color Light" (HML).

"Achieving the Proof of Principle milestone for the HTL technology is an important step in our commercialization plans. These early results are ahead of schedule and are quite exciting for the Cyberlux team," said Mark D. Schmidt, president and chief operating officer of Cyberlux. "Our objective is to commercialize this innovative, proprietary lighting technology through both an OEM licensing model and in the production of our own unique products, where low cost, energy efficient lighting solutions will address global energy conservation needs," concluded Schmidt.

In November 2006, Cyberlux acquired the worldwide exclusive rights to the pending patents for the Scattered Photon Extraction(TM) technology and methods developed at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The SPE technology enables light-emitting sources to operate at a higher luminous efficacy where traditional phosphor or downconversion materials such as luminescence polymers and/or organic films as defined by University of California -- Santa Barbara patent 5,966,393 are placed at locations remote from the photon-emitting solid-state inorganic light source.

In January 2007, the Company acquired the worldwide exclusive rights to patent 5,966,393 "Hybrid Light-Emitting Sources for Efficient and Cost Effective White Lighting and for Full-Color Applications" from the University of California -- Santa Barbara. The technology patent defines the method and practice for creating a white or multi-colored lighting source by combining the photoluminescence of polymers and/or organic films with photon emissions from a solid-state inorganic light source. The principle inventors include Nobel Laureate Dr. Alan Heeger and Dr. Steven DenBaars, Professor of Materials and Co-Director of the Solid-State Lighting Center at the University of California-Santa Barbara, who will advise the Company on the hybrid organic/inorganic lighting technology commercialization.
