Several stocks included in the portfolio of China Investment Corp - the mainland's sovereign wealth fund - have performed badly. GCL-Poly Energy (3800), SMIC (0981) and Lumena New Materials (0067) have plunged 34 percent, 32 percent and 30 percent respectively in last three weeks after they had peaked earlier this month. CIC has been a long-term investor. But some people bought the stocks just before they peaked. What should they do? Well, it should be pointed out that whenever CIC invests a substantial amount in some listed companies, the actions can be checked on the website of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. [Anmerkung: Habe ich geguckt, aber bisher nix gefunden] GCL-Poly is a major polysilicon and wafer producer in China. Last week, global polysilicon prices fell 10 percent to US$67.50 a kilogram because of oversupply fears. I recommend that those who hold the stock cut their losses. [..] usw. Der letzte Absatz ist meiner Meinung nach Blödsinn, denn GCL hat in seinem Q1-Bericht bereits von einem durchschnittlichen Kilopreis von 62,20 US$ berichtet: "The average selling price of polysilicon sold was US$62.2 per kg for the first quarter of 2011 (1st quarter of 2010: US$50.0 per kg; 4th quarter of 2010: US$60.1 per kg)." (Quelle: http://www.gcl-poly.com.hk/attachment/20110512164701001205309_en.pdf) Weiter heißt es im Q1-Bericht: "The production cost of the solar business (polysilicon and wafer) of the Group for the first quarter of 2011 continued to decrease. Due to the consistent growth of the global photovoltaic market, the Group’s strong research and development ability and economies of scale of production resulting in continuous reduction in the production cost, all these drivers contribute to the excellent performance of the Group’s polysilicon and wafer businesses during the first quarter of 2011." Außerdem schreibt GCL noch in seinem Q1-Bericht: "The Group plans to ramp up its wafer production capacity to 6.5GW by the end of this year. As the Group has entered into three-to six-year long term wafer supply contracts with over 20 leading cell and module manufacturers that provide for aggregate sales of more than 55GW, the Board are confident that the performance of this sector will contribute significant profit to the Group during the year of 2011." Hat jemand eine Idee, Meinung , Kommentar dazu? Gruß von tnzs, der auf einen grünen Morgen hofft
