UPDA Subsidiary West Oil & Gas, Inc. To Acquire Producing Natural Gas Leases in Palo Pinto County, Texas - Masaood Group Commits Additional Funding

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With its Canyon Creek and Catlin subsidiaries continuing their successful operations in Texas, Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation (OTCBB:UPDA - News) has designated its West Oil & Gas, Inc. subsidiary, a joint venture with the Masaood Group (www.masaood.com), to undertake a new acquisition in Palo Pinto County.

West Oil is presently completing its due diligence on this acquisition which is scheduled to close in February for a purchase price of approximately $4.5 million.

The property consists of 600 acres with 13 wells, 10 of which produced approximately 960 mcfg/d in December, 2006, generating over $200,000.00 in monthly revenue. The remaining 3 wells will be reworked or recompleted upon close of the transaction resulting in the further increase of these production and revenue figures.

The wells are currently being produced from the Strawn and Conglomerate formations at depths ranging from 400-3100 feet. Seven of the wells have about 150 feet of Barnett Shale behind pipe. West expects to substantially increase the production from the property within a short time after completion of the acquisition by bringing the shut in wells online and by commencing production from the Barnett Shale.

UPDA lohnenswert (Trading INSIDER)

London (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die Experten von "Trading INSIDER" erachten die Aktie von UPDA (ISIN US91379U1051/ WKN A0ETWH) als lohnenswert.
Der amerikanische Öl- und Gasproduzent Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation, kurz UPDA, kehre nach Einschätzung der Experten zu seinen Wurzeln zurück. Hätten die Experten in den vergangenen Wochen immer darüber berichtet, dass sich UPDA breiter aufstelle, sei die aktuellste Meldung ein erneuter Beweis, dass man bei UPDA alles in Betracht ziehe und auf eine ganzheitliche Strategie ausgerichtet sei. Das Unternehmen wolle die Wertschöpfungskette bei Öl und Gas von A bis Z für sich nutzen. Die beste Infrastruktur und die größten Lagerstätten würden nämlich nichts helfen, wenn das Entscheidende fehle: der Rohstoff.

Man müsse also für Nachschub sorgen. Genau das mache UPDA. West Oil & Gas, ein Joint Venture mit der Masaood Gruppe, sei gerade auf Einkaufstour. Im Gebiet von Palo Pinto in Texas sei man fündig geworden. Eine neue Akquisition stehe in der Region, in der UPDA schon recht aktiv sei, kurz bevor. Im Moment führe West Oil eine Due Dilligence Prüfung durch. Diese solle im Februar beendet sein. Der Kaufpreis für das Gelände liege bei ungefähr 4,5 Millionen Dollar. Das neue Areal umfasse 600 Acres. Darauf gebe es 13 Bohrlöcher. 10 davon würden Gas produzieren. Aktuell liege die Tagesproduktion auf dem Gebiet bei 960 mcfg (Thousand Cubic Feet Gas). Damit habe man zuletzt monatliche Umsätze von rund 200.000 Dollar erzielt.

Sobald die Übernahme perfekt sei, werde auch an den drei derzeit nicht aktiven Bohrlöchern gearbeitet werden. Dafür habe UPDA seine Spezialisten. Eine Tochtergesellschaft von UPDA sei auf solche Aufträge fokussiert. Es werde also nicht lange dauern, bis auch diese drei Löcher wieder fördern würden. Dann könnten die monatlichen Produktions- und Umsatzzahlen weiter gesteigert werden. Wenn man die Zahlen aus der Vergangenheit hochrechne, würden UPDA und Masaood mit diesem Deal jährlich einen Millionenumsatz machen. Da wirke der wahrscheinliche Kaufpreis von 4,5 Millionen Dollar sehr günstig.

Damit noch nicht genug: West Oil & Gas rechne damit, dass die aktuellen Förderzahlen bald deutlich übertroffen werden könnten. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit wolle man deutlich höhere Fördermengen erreichen. Die Anlage sei bei weitem noch nicht ausgereizt. Sowohl bei UPDA als auch bei Masaood habe man große Erwartungen in das neue Feld. Man verspreche sich daraus so einiges an Gewinnen. Genaue Prognosen mache man jedoch noch nicht. Dies wäre auch unseriös. Denn dazu müsse man erst die Entwicklung der kommenden Wochen abwarten. Bei den aktuellen Zahlen sei die gesteigerte Erwartung aber weder ein Wunder noch übertrieben. Sie sei schlichtweg sehr real.

UPDA könne damit im Gebiet von Palo Pinto einen weiteren Meilenstein setzen. Man sorge dafür, dass der Nachschub an Öl und Gas nicht versiege. UPDA setze am Anfang der Wertschöpfungskette an, um einen möglichst großen Gewinn zu erzielen.

Diese ausgezeichnete Strategie wird sich nach Ansicht der Experten von "Trading INSIDER" für alle Aktionäre der UPDA-Aktie als sehr lohnend erweisen. Sie sei nämlich die Grundlage für eine positive Unternehmensentwicklung in der Zukunft. (18.01.2007/ac/a/a)

das Teil kommt wieder  

hab das Gefühl, dass wir heute die 0,12 $ sehen.
Und deswegen leg ich nochmal nach - ist keine Kaufempfehlung an andere!  

 

 

mal weiter gen Norden laufen, schaun wir mal......
 

ja das denke ich auch. Sieht Momentan nach einer Erholung aus!  

im Januar 2006 als P.Zocker dieses Posting schrieb, stand UPDA bei ca. 0,23.-? mit Kursziel 1,50.-? auf Sicht von 6-12 Monaten. Obwohl die Fundamentalen Daten heute weitaus besser sind notiert der Wert aktuell bei 0,082.-? also fast minus 300%! Der Kurs aus Januar 2006 wurde seitdem nicht mehr erreicht. Da sieht man mal wieder was diese Prognosen wert sind!! Wenn UPDA nicht so volatil wäre könnte man hier nur Geld verbrennen! Deshalb ist hier äusserste Vorsicht geboten und schnelles Handeln nötig.
Notfalls über Amiland schnell Ordern....
Langfristig sind wir aber eindeutig im Aufwärtstrend!

Mathematische Börsengrundregel: -300% sind nicht möglich, egal wie weit ein Kurs sinkt... :-)))))

Fundamentale Daten sind weitaus besser, aber die Anzahl der shares ist ebenfalls weitaus größer.

Der Wert war ein Zockerwert, ist einer und wird wohl immer einer bleiben, solange es ihn gibt  

sorry, falsche Formulierung, ich meinte man müsse fast 300% plus machen um den Kurs von Januar 2006 zu erreichen. Es müsste natürlich heissen, 70% Verlust seit Januar 2006!
Zockerwert? Naja, da gibt es diesen Doktor, und Trading Insider und laufend gute Unternehmensmeldungen, Vielleicht doch mehr als ein Zock.

bin mir da nicht ganz sicher, ob die viel besser dastehen als im jänner 2006

kannst mal nachkontrollieren wieviele os die damals hatten und wieviele es jetzt sind bzw. in einem jahr sicher sein werden.
da wird dir schwindelig.
vorausgesagt wurde jede menge oil. derzeit ist es nicht wirklich viel was die liefern.

ich hatte vor einigen monaten ein höheres kursziel als jetzt. auch mehr phantasie gesehen.

es stehen News zu den Überarbeitungen an. Da könnte/müsste morgen noch was kommen, weil sie bis jetzt jede Woche was dazu gebracht haben in letzter Zeit!

Aber eigentlich verwundert es auch nicht so richtig, warum der Kurs wieder nachgibt. Es handelt sich bei der News um eine reine Absichtserklärung und nix greifbares - ähnlich dem Wyoming Deal. Auch wenn der heutige etwas wahrscheinlicher ist als Wyoming. Fundemantat hat sich durch die heutige Ankündigung nichts geändert

Schade, dachte es wird heut nach oben gezockt...

Naja wir werden sehen  

das der Kursanstieg lediglich eine Gegenreaktion der letzten Abwärtsbewegung war!
Der Oelpreis wird weiter nachgeben und meiner Meinung nach wird UPDA jetzt wieder langsam
auf den Bereich von 0,065.-? oder etwas tiefer zurückfallen. Wenn der Oelpreis dann wieder zulegt und gute News kommen könnte es wieder in den Bereich von 0,95.-? nach oben gehen. Schaun wir mal....... Meine Meinung, keine Kauf-oder Verkaufsempfehlung.

Richtig, jemand der sonst keinen Job bekommt. Aber jemand der bei UBS, Merrill Lynch und Morgan Stanley gearbeitet hat bekommt andere Jobs - ausser er hat Dreck am Stecken. Oder seh ich das falsch?

Trotz allem - es müssen Förderzahlen her und kann einfach beim besten Willen nicht verstehen warum keine gemeldet werden. Ich kann es einfach nicht verstehen!

Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation (OTCBB: UPDA) has appointed Agustin Soto as Chief Operations Officer of UPDA's storage subsidiary US Petroleum Depot, Inc. in Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Soto brings over 25 years experience in multi-national Gas and Oil dealings to this position. Following his graduation from the University of Houston, Agustin has been active in many aspects of the Oil and Gas industry, including dehydration, compression, well testing, measurement, and sales and purchasing. Prior to joining UPDA, Agustin consulted for TransTexas Gas Corporation, Shale Production Systems and Valero Energy.
