ASX ANNOUNCEMENT & MEDIA RELEASE 22 February 2012 TWIN HILLS OPERATIONS AND PRODUCTION UPDATE Key Points: • • • • Stacking of Leach Pad 3 now underway after delays due to continued heavy February rainfall Production rates in excess of 3,100oz per day have been achieved Company on track for steady-state operations during Q3 2012 despite delays with crushing circuit and recent rain events ~400,000oz of recoverable silver now stockpiled on Leach Pads 2 and 3 Alcyone Resources Limited (ASX: AYN; ‘Alcyone’ or ‘the Company’) provides the following operational update for the Twin Hills heap leach silver operation, part of its 100%-owned Texas Silver & Polymetallic Project in south-east Queensland. The Company advises that stacking of high-grade ore onto Leach Pad 3 has now commenced and similar ore is now under full irrigation on Leach Pad 2. In total, approximately 400,000 recoverable ounces of silver are stockpiled on Leach Pad 2 and 3.

The recent heavy rains in south-east Queensland have caused delays to the completion of Leach Pad 3, which was expected to be in production in January and forecast to significantly increase production levels for the March 2012 Quarter. It is now anticipated that production will commence from this pad by late March. Alcyone has already altered drainage patterns around the heaps to reduce the future impact of high rainfall, with further studies underway to review measures to mitigate the impact of extreme wet season events on the heap leach operation.

While the operation has recently achieved production rates in excess of 3,100oz of silver per day, there has been a slower than anticipated ramp-up in recovery rates. During this ramp-up period, the Company is continuing to undertake optimisation work on heap flow rates and reagent addition to maximise silver leaching kinetics from the heaps. This work, together with the commissioning of Leach Pad 3, should assist the Company in moving towards its goal of achieving consistent daily production of around 4,000oz of silver.

Alcyone’s Managing Director, Mr Andrew King, said: “While the delays in ramp-up are regrettable, it is important to note that the operation is performing strongly in most areas. The crusher issues are being addressed, Leach Pad 2 is fully stacked and irrigating, stacking of Leach Pad 3 now underway and work is continuing to enhance the leaching kinetics. “Our operations team is extremely focused on completing the production ramp-up over the next few months ....

Während dieser Anlaufphase wird das Unternehmen weiterhin die Optimierung der Arbeit auf Halde Flussraten und Reagenz neben Silberlaugung Kinetik aus den Haufen zu maximieren verpflichten. . Deutliche Verzögerungen beim "Hochfahren" der Produktion. LP3, das bereits im Jan in Produktion gehen sollte, wird nun erst in Q2 für Umsatz sorgen. Zusammen mit weiteren Optimierungen der Prozesse sollen dann dauerhaft 4000 oz pro Tag produziert werden.
Immerhin sind es jetzt schon 3100 oz pro Tag.  
Erzhaltiges Material für die Gewinnung von 400.000 oz liegt auf Lager. Ist m.E. nicht die Welt, bringt gerade mal 12 Mio $, abzüglich Kosten.... ALso fleissig weiter graben!

der kurs wird in australien gemacht, dort wurden heute 8,3 mio aktien gehandelt. in deutschland steigt und sinkt der kurs wie verrückt wird aber immer an den australischen wert angepasst.

das glaube ich nicht. der kurs fällt einfach mit dem silberpreis, einiege verkaufen aus angst ihre aktien. silber ist in einer großen korrekturphase nach einem anstieg von 33 % eine gesunde verschnaufpause.

 

frankfurt an,,,der handel heute über 600.000 stück gekauft und ein plu von mageren 1,5%...ich habe die aktie in frankfurt gekauft und es ist der kurs von frankfurt für mich ausschlaggebend,,,wen du die letzten 3-4 wochen beobachtet hast wurden hunderttausende aktien in frankfurt gekauft und nicht um die burg geht die aktie nach oben,und das stoßt bei mir sauer auf
und jetzt schau dir mal "AMUN RESOURCES" an diese kleien posis gekauft und ein fettes plus von über 15%,,,wird auch in australien gemacht,,,kommmmmisch nicht???

@schakal1409: Eigentlich haben wir nur 3 unabhängige Börsenplätze für AYN in Deutschland (siehe Chart). Alles was ich grün markiert habe folgt Frankfurt in den Kursen, selbst wenn dort kein Handel stattfindet. Stuttgart und Tradegate sind eigenständig, bei Tradegate fand Handel statt, bei Stuttgart jedoch nicht (siehe Tagesvolumen), beide kommen auf unterschiedliche Abschlusskurse. Entscheidend ist das bei Abschlusskurs erreichte Volumen, da hat Tradegate in etwa in etwa den gleichen Umsatz wie Frankfurt, schließt aber um 0,002 höher ab. Im Schnitt bekommt Australien einen Mittelkurs aus "D" von 0,067 EUR. Also alles im Normalbereich. Hilft das?

Dennoch alles Peanuts-Kurse, auch weil Alcyone Verzögerungen mit dem 3. Leachbecken hat, das kommt bei Anlegern nicht gut an. Das halte ich aber für eine temporäre Situation. Gruß, mad.
