Northern Canadian Increases Financing to up to 7 Million Units Vancouver, British Columbia ? April 6, 2006 ? Northern Canadian Minerals Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: NCA; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: N4I; OTC BB: NCADF) (?Northern Canadian? or the ?Company?) is pleased to announce that, due to high demand, the number of units offered in its previously announced non-brokered private placement on April 4, 2006 is increased from 5,000,000 units to up to 7,000,000 units. The units consist of one common share and one-half share purchase warrant at $0.50 per unit. Each whole share purchase warrant will entitle the holder, on exercise, to purchase one additional common share of the Company at a price of $0.65 per share at any time until the close of business on the day which is one year from the date of issue of the warrant.
A finder?s fee of 7% will be paid on a portion of the private placement.
