Hi,

do you often follow the trend? Are your trading more cyclic or anticyclic?

Hi,

I often follow the trend and ride it along until I see weakness. The further the market moves from my entry price in my direction, the more I make; the stronger the trend, the more opportunity I have to make a larger profit.
The markets are mostly random, but they do have a small trend component.

How do you act?

JR

Hi Mr. Ewing,

To trade cyclic is perhaps recommendable for medium-term trades. But the problem is, that you never know, where the trend starts and where it ends. And the question is, if you make the big money, when you only follow the trend.

Hey there,

I'm sure you won't be very successful, if you're only trading with the trend. But of course, you are right, asking yourself, where a trend begins and where it stops. But look at me, I am very proud because my strategy is going anticyclic as often as possible. I think I have success. Not always, but more if I am only walk together with all the other traders. You have to be courageous.

Try it again and again, and you will be successful, too.
But also keep cool out there,

Hi guys,

well, it's a good question.
There are so many trading disciplines.

I prefer swing trading but I have added some turnaround techniques. General assumptions I get by using the MACD divergences and the Fibonaccis.

Have a nice week!

Hi Mr. Ewing,

Fibonacci was a italian mathematican. He has found a order of numbers. Each number is about 1,618 times higher than the number before. You find this formula in many figures in the nature for example. For some years the stockexchange also began to use this formula to prognosticate the rates.
