QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 18, 2005) - RAYMOR INDUSTRIES INC. (TSX VENTURE:RAR - News) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michel Baril to its Board of Directors.

Michel Baril holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Montreal, and is a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
After working three years for General Electric of Canada, Mr. Baril joined Bombardier in 1979 as Head of Quality Assurance with the Public Transportation Division. In 1982, he was promoted Director of Quality Assurance. In 1988, he was appointed Vice-President of the Engineering, R&D, Quality Assurance and Sales Support Department of the Railway and Diesel Products Division. In 1990, he was appointed Vice-President of Operations of Bombardier's Transportation Group for North America. Four years later, he became Executive Vice-President, Technologies and Business Development, and in 1996 he was appointed President of the Public Transportation Division, responsible for all the Transportation Group's activities in Canada and in the U.S.
In 1998, he was appointed Executive Vice-President of Bombardier Aeronautics, in charge of supply and manufacturing activities for Canadair, de Havilland, Learjet, and Shorts.
In 2000, Mr. Baril took on the position of Executive Vice-President of Bombardier Transport, responsible for the group's entire worldwide operations.
In 2001, Mr. Baril was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Recreational Products, where he remained until his departure in November 2003.
Mr. Baril sits on the Board of Directors of Developpement Economique Longueuil, GL&V, and Manac.
Furthermore, Mr Michel Baril will replace Mr.Moshe Zefrani to the board of directors. We thank Mr.Zefrani for his past work for Raymor.
