Amerix gets licence renewals for Vila Porto Rico

AMERIX RENEWS ALL EXPLORATION LICENSES FOR VILA PORTO RICO
On Nov. 20, 2006, the DNPM (Departamento Nacional da Producao Mineral -- Brazilian Government Mining Bureau) renewed all four of Amerix Precious Metals Corp.'s exploration licences for the Vila Porto Rico property pursuant to DNPM processes Nos. 852.632/93, 852.726/93, 852.677/93 and 852.678/93. These exploration licences are valid for three years and were granted to Mineracao Vila Porto Rico which is wholly owned by Amerix.
Drilling at the Vila Porto Rico property is proceeding and currently is taking place at Ouro Roxo to test the continuity of mineralization between the Ouro Roxo North and South deposits.
Amerix also announced that for the financial year ended July 31, 2006, the corporation incurred a loss of three cents per share. The audited annual financial statements and management discussion and analysis are available for review at SEDAR and on the corporation's website.
