Minus 19% in den USA. Jemand eine Idee wie das weitergehen könnte? Wenn da jetzt die Shortseller reingehen gibt es die nächsten Tage ein Blutbad.

Phase3 Studie ziritaxestat (GLPG1690) wird nicht fortgeführt (IPF)

"Galapagos NV and Gilead Sciences Inc. said they are halting late-stage clinical trials of an experimental treatment for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis following a recommendation by the study?s independent monitors.

The drugmakers said in a statement on Wednesday that the trial?s independent data monitoring committee concluded the risk-benefit profile of the autotaxin inhibitor, called ziritaxestat, no longer supported continuing with the trials."

Wie denkt ihr entwickelt sich Galapagos weiter? Eventuell Übernahme durch Gilead?

Warum sollte GILD Galapagos übernehmen, nachdem hier reihenweise Studien gefloppt sind? GLPG ist ein Milliardengrab für GILD, die werden meiner Meinung nach schlechtem Geld kein gutes mehr hinterherwerfen. Allerdings befinden wir uns in einem Bullenmarkt und Biotechs auf 52WT sind sehr rar, angesichts der hohen Cashreserven von Galapagos könnten die aktuellen Kurse spekulative Anleger anlocken.
