"PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION WEEK"

An islandwide  special programme on  the themes of "Provincial Administration Week" will be held from July10 -16, under the guidance of Hon. Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, Minister of Provincial Councils and Public Administration to improve the efficiency of the Public Service through all the Provincial Administrative Institutions.

 

This week will commence on July 10 and continue till 16, will be categorized under the different themes each day throughout the island.

 

The significance of this program is to implement the Common Projects, with the participation of the Public. Chief Ministers, Local Government Ministers and Chief Secretaries of the Provinces will   co-ordinate the activities scheduled for the week.

According to this:

    July

   10   -  Health and Health Safety Day
   11  -   Education & Sports Day
   12  -   Environment Day
   13  -   Development Projects Day
   14  -   Public Utility Day
   15  -   Information Technology Day
   16  -   Last day of this programme is allocated for honouring

the individuals and Institutions, by presenting awards and certificates for  their yeoman service rendered in the respective fields, under the Provincial Administrative Institutions.

Hon. Minister, added that this programme is limited for a week but instructed all the Institutions under the Provincial Councils to conduct this programme every year.

 

Sondern lieber Jeff man eine Nachrihct zukommen lassen was wir von seiner Firmen- und Informationspolitik halten: Nämlich nichts. Habe gerade Jeff eine Nachricht über das Kontaktformular der Axia Website geschickt. Und ich denke alle die noch in Axia investiert sind sollten dies ebenfalls tun. Vielleicht wacht der Junge dann mal auf!!!

Oder noch besser: Instant-Villen als neues Geschäftsmodell für Leute die gerne mal protzen wollen aber nicht das Geld dafür haben (oder nicht mehr, weil sie in Axia investiert hatten).

30,000 families to get houses under Jana Sevana programme

COLOMBO: The National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) is to provide 30,000 families with housing facilities by the end of 2006.

The project with an estimated cost of Rs.558 Million, has been initiated under the "Jana Sevana" housing programme which is in line with Mahinda Chinthana national policy, NHDA sources said.

The progress of the "Jana Sevana" programme was reviewed at a meeting held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Housing and Construction recently, presided over by Minister Ferial Ashraff.

According to the details revealed at the meeting significant progress has been achieved in the first half of the year surpassing expectations in comparison with the last decade, NHDA sources said.

The NHDA attributed the success to systematic financial management, dedication of the officials and the enthusiastic participation of the recipient householders.

The NHDA has 36,974 housing units as its target for 2006 and has already completed the construction of 25,869 housing units up to June 30, with the participation of the beneficiary families.

Several sub programmes have been implemented.In one such programme NHDA has successfully completed the accelerated "Diri Sevena" programme constructing 250 housing units within 90 days, in 12 underprivileged Divisional Secretarial divisions.

Based on the success of this programme the "Jana Sevana-1,000" housing programme has been launched in all secretarial divisions where acute poverty is prevalent including the North and East.

Under this programme 1,000 selected families received a Rs.50,000 loan to construct their houses and another 1000 low income families were granted housing loans upto a maximum of Rs.100,000.

Other than the above programmes cluster housing programmes at village level have been launched to construct 3,500 housing units at a cost of Rs. 207 million.

In addition to these programmes launched in 2006, several programmes were implemented to complete the on-going housing programme which commenced in the previous year, NHDA sources said.

Upto June 30 this year, the NHDA has provided technical assistance to construct more than 2,000 houses for tsunami victims in Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Ampara, Galle and Matara districts.

Minister Ferial Ashraff said at the progress review meeting that "The NHDA should work closely with the people of the urban and rural areas in providing housing facilities using their own experiences".

The Minister further said that the Government is expected to launch a special programme in 2007 to provide sustainable roofing for permanent houses.

The Minister instructed the NHDA officials to conduct a countrywide survey to identify homes that are in need of such roofs and to collect data in this regard.

According to NHDA sources already 16,534 housing units have been provided with roofing sheets under the "Sevana Piyasa" programme. NHDA said that they intend purchasing these roofing material from local manufacturers.

Tsunami-Alarm auf Java: Bewohner melden Todesopfer
Nach einem schweren Erdbeben vor Indonesien haben Augenzeugen auf der Insel Java rund zwei Meter hohe Tsunami-Wellen gemeldet. Mindestens drei Menschen seien ums Leben gekommen, sagten sagten sie einem lokalen Rundfunksender. Mehrere Häuser und ein Hotel seien beschädigt worden.

Nach dem Beben der Stärke 7,2 am Montagnachmittag hatten die japanischen meteorologischen Behörden zuvor vor möglicherweise verheerenden Riesenwellen an den indonesischen Inseln Java und Sumatra gewarnt. Auch die rund 400 Kilometer südlich gelegene Weihnachtsinsel und die Kokosinseln, die zu Australien gehören, könnten betroffen sein, hieß es.

Das Beben vor der Küste Indonesiens ließ nach Berichten von Augenzeugen Hochhäuser in der auf Java gelegenen Hauptstadt Jakarta zwei Minuten lang schwanken. Das Beben habe sich um 3.20 Uhr am Nachmittag (10.20 Uhr MESZ) ereignet, teilte der Geophysikalische Dienst Jakartas mit. Das Epizentrum habe im Indischen Ozean gelegen, etwa 366 Kilometer südlich von Jakarta. Nach Rundfunkberichten wurde das Beben in verschiedenen Städten West Javas bemerkt.

 


Serie von Beben

Indonesien war in den vergangenen Wochen von mehreren kräftigen Erdbeben getroffen worden. Am 27. Mai starben 6.000 Menschen, als ein Beben der Stärke 6,2 das Gebiet um die Stadt Yogyakarta erschüttert. Tausende Menschen wurden verletzt. Indonesien liegt am so genannten «Ring of Fire», einem Gürtel mit zahlreichen Vulkanen am Pazifik, wo Erdbeben und Vulkanausbrüche sehr häufig vorkommen.

Erst an diesem Montag hatten in Indonesien die Schulen nach dem verheerenden Erdbeben vor zwei Monaten wieder geöffnet. Der Unterricht fand vielerorts in Behelfszelten statt, die nahe der in Trümmern liegenden alten Klassenzimmer errichtet wurden. In einigen Ortschaften im Erdbebengebiet auf der Insel Java begann der Wiederaufbau der zerstörten Schulgebäude. Bei dem Beben der Stärke 5,9 waren am 27. Mai fast 5.700 Menschen ums Leben gekommen, bis zu eine Million weitere wurden obdachlos. Bis zu 2.000 Schulen wurden nach Schätzungen von Hilfsorganisationen dem Erdboden gleich gemacht oder beschädigt. (N24.de, AP, dpa)

SOS-Indonesien - Hilfe für die Opfer der Erdbebenkatastrophe

Nach dem schweren Erdbeben auf Java rund um die Stadt Yogyakarta haben die SOS-Kinderdörfer ein Nothilfe-Programm für die Opfer der Katastrophe gestartet. Nach Medienberichten ist davon auszugehen, dass bei dem Erdbeben mehr als 5.000 Menschen ums Leben gekommen sind. Die Zahl der Verletzten geht in die Tausende; über 200.000 Menschen sind obdachlos.

Tsunami-Hilfsaktion in Indonesien. Noch haben uns keine Bilder aus Yogyakarta erreicht.  
Mitarbeiter des SOS-Sozialzentrums in Samarang waren bereits kurz nach dem Beben ins Katastrophengebiet aufgebrochen. Gemeinsam mit Jugendlichen aus SOS-Jugendhäusern verteilen sie im betroffenen Gebiet um Yogyakarta Lebensmittel und andere überlebenswichtige Ausrüstung an Betroffene. Glücklicherweise ist die SOS-Jugendeinrichtung in Yogyakarta nur leicht beschädigt, so dass sie für die Durchführung der Nothilfemaßnahmen genutzt werden kann. Es ist weiter geplant, dass sich SOS-Kinderdorf besonders um Kinder kümmert, die ihre Eltern verloren haben oder dringend Hilfe benötigen.

Laut Gregor Nitihardjo, Leiter der SOS-Kinderdörfer in Indonesien, sind keine SOS-Familien und -Mitarbeiter durch das Erdbeben verletzt oder gar getötet worden. Es sei allerdings zu befürchten, dass es Verletzte oder Todesopfer unter den Verwandten von Mitarbeitern gibt, die in der Gegend von Yogyakarta leben.

Euro 1.3 billion for North and East development

The government is going to start a project on rehabilitation of economic, physical and social infrastructure with the aim of promoting the living standards of people in Tsunami affected areas, primarily in the north and east. The plan includes reconstruction of the access road to schools and the development of infrastructure facilities.

This project would be implemented in the districts of Jaffna, Mullaitiva, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Hambanthota with German assistance.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Nation Building and Development, the agreement for this project would be signed on July 18, 2006. This agreement would be between the Ministry of Nation Building and Development and the Ministry of Economical Development and the German Technical Cooperation on behalf of the German government.

The German government has promised to invest a sum of Rs.1.25 billion (Euro 10 million) for this project. This will amount to a total of Euro 13,277 million with the private contribution together with the donation by the Non Governmental Oraganisation such as German World Vision of Germany

--> In weniger als einem Jahr wurden bereits über 200 Menschen trainiert, Axia´s Häuser zu errichten. Das heißt wohl, Axia hat seitdem 200 neue Mitarbeiter geworben ;-) Vielleicht können Jeff und Raj diese Leute auch in anderen Orten einsetzen, zum Beispiel in Pakistan oder Indien.

Wer weiß? Wenn die 250 Häuser auf Sri Lanka fertiggstellt
sind, Axia dafür ordentlich Kohle bekommt und neue Aufträge
an Land ziehen kann, dann steckt in dem totgesagten Laden noch
ne Menge Leben! ;-)  Die Arbeit bisher scheint bereits Früchte zu tragen!

Ich werte die Meldung von gestern Abend auf jeden Fall extrem positiv!
Es scheint voran zu gehen! Axia hat sich wohl auf Sri Lanka etabliert!
Die Arbeit mit der dortigen Regierung, anderen Unternehmen und Privatpersonen
gestaltet sich "positive". Das ist schön zu hören! Dann lassen wir Jeff und
Raj noch ein bisschen Zeit, die aktuelle Arbeit fertig zu machen, um dann
neue Aufträge zu bekommen!

An der Börse wird immer die Zukunft gehandelt!

Ich denke, dass Axia eine Zukunft hat!

Wenn das hier so bleibt, dann kann es bei Eröffnung gleich mal um 150% hoch gehen!
Ich denke aber, dass wir auf jeden Fall langfristig hier gut positioniert sind!
Ob Axia im August oder September bei 1,00 Dollar steht oder im Dezember oder
Januar bei 5,00 Dollar... ziemlich egal! Ich warte noch ein oder zwei Jahre
und verkaufe erst, wenn Axia eine richtig große Firma ist, an der Nasdaq gelistet
ist und jährliche Umsätze von 20 Millionen Dollar aufweist!

Das Potenzial ist da! Axia braucht nur noch etwas Zeit!
Neben Sri Lanka locken Indien, Pakistan und Las Vegas mit Angeboten!

Bisher hat Axia schon 200 Leute trainiert!!!
Nächstes Jahr könnten es schon 1000 sein, die
für Axia neue Gebäude errichten! Dann könnten
bis zu 50 Häuser zeitgleich gebaut werden! Bei
zwei Wochen Bauzeit pro Haus macht das ca. 200 Häuser pro Monat!!!

German Government Assist to Develop the Tsunami Affected Areas

The Ministry of Nation Building and Development (MNBD) and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) on behalf of Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) have signed an agreement today for the project titled " Rehabilitation of Economical, Physical and Social Infrastructure" with the aim of promoting the living standards of people in tsunami affected areas. The project includes reconstruction of the access road to schools and the development of infrastructure facilities in those areas.

Two parties have agreed to the objectives and indicators of the project and they would use sustainable development results using conflict sensitive approach. The overall aim is to support governmental institutions in implementing sustainable and long-term activities that enhance social, economic and political potentials of the region.

The project locations are Jaffna, Mullaitiva, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Hambanthota districts. Active participations of the population is necessary for the ownership and sustainability in the reconstruction and development process, Ministry of Nation Building and the GTZ have stated.

The German government has invested a sum of Rs.1.25 billion (Euro 10 million) for the project. This will amount to a total of Euro 13,727 million with the private contribution together with the donation by the Non Governmental Oraganisations (NGOs) such as World Vision of Germany.

The funds will be used for the provision of equipment for implementation and for the expertise of national and international experts. This will enhance the planning and management capacities of the partners. Furthermore, the finance will be utilized for the training activities workshops and conferences in Sri Lanka, or in the region as well as for operating and administrative costs.

The government has ensured to provide security for the employers who will be working in the conflict areas.

Schichau reaktiviert (WKN 717 350)! Handel an Börse Hamburg und Berlin

Nachdem es gestern vormittag bereits Gerüchte gab, können wir von Transatlantic Capital nun exklusiv und offiziell bestätigen:
Schichau Seebeckwerft AG (Handelsplätze Hamburg und Berlin mit WKN 717 350) wird nun doch reaktiviert!
Top-aktuell haben wir von unternehmensnahen Kreisen erfahren, dass die zunächst abgesagte Sanierung des Börsenmantels nun doch geglückt ist. Bereits in Kürze werde die operativ sehr gut dastehende Nachfolgegesellschaft in die Schichau Seebeckwerft AG re-integriert. Die Schichau Seebeckwerft AG werde dann als renommierte Trägergesellschaft mit jahrzehntelanger Reputation wieder operativ tätig. Ein leistungsfähiges Controlling sei bereits etabliert, und die Finanzausstattung der AG sei ebenfalls gesichert.
Für die Aktionäre bedeutet diese neue Situation zunächst einmal ein gewaltiges Kurspotenzial der Aktie um mind. 1.500%. Wir stufen die Aktie auf Strong Buy hoch ? mit Kursziel 18 ?.

nix verloren, aber ich finde es trotzdem lustig :-)
