Die Wertpapierexperten vom Börsenbrief Global Biotech Investing nehmen die
Aktie der Packard Biotech Incorporation (WKN 936713) in ihr Musterdepot
auf.

Die erst seit April an der Börse notierte Gesellschaft stelle Produkte und
Zubehör für die Genomforschung her. Da die Produkte keine FDA-Zulassung
benötigten, werde das Investmentrisiko deutlich reduziert.

Das profitabel arbeitende Unternehmen weise bei einem Umsatz von 164
Millionen USD
eine satte Bruttogewinnmarge von 54% aus. Netto würden in diesem Jahr etwa
10 Millionen USD anfallen, bis zum Jahr 2004 werde eine
Gewinnverdreifachung erwartet.

Das Researchteam empfiehlt diese Perle zum Kauf.

Die Analysten vom Berliner Börsenbrief empfehlen die Aktie der Packard
Bioscience Incorporation (WKN 936713) zum Kauf.

Als Unternehmen in der Genanalyse habe sich Packard neben anderen
Techniken vor allem auf Biochips konzentriert und wolle sich hier als
Spezialist für Tiefenforschung platzieren. Das weltweit agierende
Unternehmen arbeite zudem schon profitabel.

Im ersten Quartal des laufenden Geschäftsjahres habe das
Biotechunternehmen bei einem Umsatz von 62 Millionen USD einen Gewinn je
Anteilsschein in Höhe von 0,02 USD erwirtschaftet und auch im laufenden
Quartal solle ein Gewinn von 0,02 USD erzielt werden.

Dies höre sich zwar unspektakulär an und liefere der Aktie ein KGV auf
Jahresbasis von 160, die Phantasie komme aber durch die Lizenzierung der
Technologie durch keinen anderen als Motorola, was dem Biotechunternehmen
entsprechende Einnahmen beschere.

Hinzu würden die eigenen Erfolge von Packard kommen. Jüngst habe die
Gesellschaft zwei Patente für Geräte und Methoden zur Herstellung von
Biochips erhalten.

Die Aussichten seien überaus vielversprechend und daher werde die Aktie
zum Kauf empfohlen und ins Musterdepot aufgenommen, so das Researchteam.

das Management entschlossen, die ?Chipabteilung? unter dem
Namen BioSignal Packard zusammenzufassen. Damit knüpfe man an eine nun
schon fast zehnjährige Tradition an.

1999 habe Packard BioScience einen Umsatz von 265 US-Dollar
erwirtschaftete. Das erste Quartal im laufenden Geschäftsjahr sei mit
einem Umsatz von 62,5 Millionen US-Dollar bereits sehr erfolgreich
abgeschlossen wurden. Mit den neuen Patenten in der Tasche würde sich der
Erfolgskurs sicherlich fortsetzen.

Die Analysten von Merrill Lynch raten im Rahmen des kürzlich erfolgten
IPOs von Packard BioScience (WKN 936713) die Aktien kurz- wie auch
langfristig zu kaufen.

Der Titel weise im Vergleich zu Vergleichs-Unternehmen wie Waters und
Agilent eine attraktive Bewertung auf.

Das 12-Monats-Kursziel betrage 15 USD.


Obwohl ich glaube das es in nächster zeit noch etwas nach unten geht (bis ca 15 e) empfehle ich den Wert auf die Watchliste zu nehmen, denn falls die Umsätze anziehen gehts nach oben.
