selbst wenn diese Bank hier wieder auf die Beine kommen sollte das Vertrauen ist entgültig weg !!!!! kein Mensch legt sein Geld bei einer Bank an der er nicht vertraut also wird hier auch nix passieren oder auf was wartet ihr sonst ???  

steigende kurse, mein kleiner hase, auf was denn sonst?!?  

zumindest auf der einen seite!  

wieder als eigenständige Bank aktiv wird, ist wohl auf verlorenem Posten. JPM treibt die "Einverleibung" mit aller Macht vorran und schafft somit Fakten. Alle Zweigstellen werden oder sind bereits umbenannt; alle ATM`s sind bereits umbenannt und gerade erst wurde die 28 Mio. Wamu-Konten eingepflegt.

So siehts aus !

Es geht allen hier Investierten um Schadensersatz resp. um einen gerechten Kaufpreis. Es gibt ausreichend Fälle die als Präzedenz herhalten können (siehe Wells-Fargo vers. Wachovia) und wo wesentlich höhere und angemessenere Kaufpreise erzielt wurden.

Und die Chancen vor US-Gerichten eine Zustimmung oder gar ein Strafzahlung für JPM/FDIC zu bekommen stehen sehr gut !!

Ich stelle einfach mal eine Frage zur Diskussion:

Wieso plant JPM eine Kapitalerhöhung? Denen ging es in der der zeitigen Situation von allen Banken noch mit am Besten!!!

Und das erst, wenn Sie es müssen. Also am 24.6. tickt die Uhr.

Washington Mutual Inc. Shareholder Requests Equity Committee in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case

DALLAS, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Rozenfeld, a Washington Mutual Inc. stockholder has requested that the Department of Justice revisit a previous request for an Equity Committee in the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy case of Washington Mutual Inc. Michael previously filed a request for an Equity Committee November 10, 2008, shortly after the seizure of Washington Mutual Bank and numerous subsidiaries. That request was denied on January 9, 2009, after a brief investigation and review by Joseph J. McMahon Jr., Department of Justice. The primary reason it appears to have been denied was that anticipated lawsuits had not been filed yet, and the WMI assets were less than their liabilities. Mr. McMahon stated at that time, that the request for an Equity Committee could be revisited at some future point.


In the November request, Michael had conjectured that lawsuits would be filed against the FDIC and JPMorgan. Those lawsuits have since been filed, but there is no resolution of them as yet. Shareholders are very positive about a favorable resolution of those suits but are concerned there may not be enough time to organize an official Equity Committee to protect the shareholders when resolution is reached. WMI appears to be in negotiations regarding this, based on a review of the attorney bills on file in the Bankruptcy Court in Delaware. Judge Mary Walrath is presiding over that case.


Michael is a member of the Washington Mutual Equity Group, which could be considered an ad hoc Equity Committee. It currently consists of approximately 500 members, and Michael made the current request on their behalf. Getting an Equity Committee is the sole purpose of that organization. Another popular shareholder website is www.wamustory.com where a plethora of official documents regarding the seizure and sale can be found.


The reason for an Equity Committee is to protect shareholder interests in the resolution of the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy that was filed. Currently the shareholders are not formally protected. Many shareholders have modified their holdings to include shares of WAHUQ, WAMPQ, WAMKQ and WAMUQ, in an attempt to protect themselves at least partially. The company's net cash flow for April was 48.8 million.

JPM will apply a minimum of 30 days restriction to all converted shares, because the buyout/settlement is going to make the stock drop at least 10% before it recovers and starts to come back up, once the news releases are over and the market can bare the responsibility of new JPM shareholders in the form of old WAMU shareholders. If no payout of Prefs, that is a good deal for JPM...IMHO



Yes.. JPM knows that is they don't announce a dividend by the time the 30 day restriction is up, the stock is going to head down a very dangerous road. It will take months for it to recover the losses it will sustain if the WAMU shareholders sell off in large volumes.
I don't think that is going to happen. Most of us do not want to incur the tax burden that this will bring and will probably hold a core position in JPM [even though we do not like them] so we can reap the dividends that will be forthcoming.
I would hold quite a bit of my position if I knew Divies were coming soon. It would be worth to me to do this and I figure 90-95% of all converted past WMI stockholders would do the same because divies are great. JPM should pay in the neighborhood of .55 PPS divies when they are reinstated. They just said in their 10Q that the WAMU deal is netting them .50-.70 PPS per Quarter..
I think the first divie would at least be .50 PPS.
Look at this way.
If you buy 100 common shares today at .10 that costs you $10
JPM buys WMI and converts 1:5 you end up with 20 shares
JPM pays .50 divie 3Q 2009 you end up with $10. Why would sell a stock that has a value of $600 if 1Q of divies pays for it. You could see 5 shares to gain 25% of value and hold the other 75% to enrich yourself in divies. I believe this is what will happen.
The one thing that could hurt this stock, if the professional WAMU investors started shorting their new JPM stocks and drove the price down as a revenge tactic. That scenario would not be good for any of us, the last thing you would want is for JPM to cancel the divie payment!
GO WMI WEIL and Quinn and TEXAS !!!

Wechselweise ist es eine Methode der Ausübung der Aktienoptionen, in denen Anteile, die der Halter bereits besitzt, benutzt werden, um neue Anteile zu dem Übungspreis zu kaufen.

Sie ist eine der Giftpillestrategien, die verwendet werden, um ein Angebot der agressiven Übernahme zu vermeiden von einer anderen Firma

am ball bleiben und kein stoploss setzen,denn das bringt hier nichts.
wie gesagt mit einem totalverlust muss man auch rechnen können,aber das weiss ja jeder hier.

Mal eine, vielleicht etwas naive, Frage.

Wieso kauft JP nicht einfach alle WaMu-Aktien auf? Die aktuelle Marktkapitalisierung liegt bei ca. 120Millionen Euro. Das sollten die doch in er Portokasse haben ... !Dann kommts zwar zu nem Squeez, aber die Strafe und den Rest könnten Sie dann easy noch mit dem berappen, was sie selbt an Reibach mit den Anteilen erwirtschaftet haben ?!
