The market screen on the "Prices" page displays the last traded price and the the best buy and sell (bid and ask) price currently available for each security.

As with other exchanges, all trades are placed through the market via authorised and regulated stockbrokers who are able to access the GXG Markets electronic trading platform that feeds through the share prices to this site. Stockbrokers can access information on all the buy and sell orders that are currently active in the system.

You can instruct your broker to match a specific order, or ask them to put up a bid or ask that can be held on the system for a specific period until matched. A list of approved brokers can be found in the section to the right of this page.

Trades in companies quoted on the Regulated Market or MTF are then cleared and settled via Euroclear/Crest in the same fashion as on any other exchange.

Companies on the GXG Markets OTC must have their traded securities dematerialised prior to being traded, but may not be Crest registered. Where companies are not Crest registered, GXG have made separate arrangements for the clearing and settlement of these securities.
