Family Room Full Steam Ahead on the ''Terror Train'' Friday March 25, 4:01 pm ET
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 25, 2005--Family Room Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:FMLY - News), in conjunction with its wholly owned subsidiary, Emmett/Furla Films, Maverick Films and Integrated Films and Management, is pleased to announced that they have acquired the rights to remake the 1980 horror classic, TERROR TRAIN and have signed Ryan Elsinger to write the screenplay. Emmett/Furla Films is also in negotiations with a third party financier to fund the production of the picture. The picture is slated to begin pre-production in late summer.
ADVERTISEMENT click here The original picture, which was directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starred Jamie Lee Curtis, follows a group of college coeds being terrorized by a masked killer during a New Year's Masquerade on a chartered train.
Emmett/Furla and Integrated previously partnered to set up a remake of the horror classic, "THE AMITYVILLE HORROR," with NuImage and Dimension Films. "THE AMITYVILLE HORROR" will be released nation-wide on April 15th.

Ryan Elsinger was recently nominated for the Someone to Watch Award at the 2004 IFP Independent Spirit Awards for his film "MADDNESS AND GENIUS," which he wrote and directed. He was also accepted to the 2004 Sundance Institute's Writer's Lab.
