Hallo liebe Experten,
Have Insiders Sold Proton Motor Power Systems Plc (LON:PPS) Shares Recently? Simply Wall St March 26, 2020 We wouldn’t blame Proton Motor Power Systems Plc (LON:PPS) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that Faiz Nahab, the CEO & Director recently netted about UK£746k selling shares at an average price of UK£0.25. That’s a big dump, and it decreased their holding size by 15%, which is notable but not too bad.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Proton Motor Power Systems In fact, the recent sale by Faiz Nahab was the biggest sale of Proton Motor Power Systems shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. So it’s clear an insider wanted to take some cash off the table, even below the current price of UK£0.30. As a general rule we consider it to be discouraging when insiders are selling below the current price, because it suggests they were happy with a lower valuation. While insider selling is not a positive sign, we can’t be sure if it does mean insiders think the shares are fully valued, so it’s only a weak sign. This single sale was just 15% of Faiz Nahab’s stake.

We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. Our data suggests Proton Motor Power Systems insiders own 0.6% of the company, worth about UK£1.2m. However, it’s possible that insiders might have an indirect interest through a more complex structure. I generally like to see higher levels of ownership.
What Might The Insider Transactions At Proton Motor Power Systems Tell Us? Unfortunately, there has been more insider selling of Proton Motor Power Systems stock, than buying, in the last three months. Zooming out, the longer term picture doesn’t give us much comfort. When you combine this with the relatively low insider ownership, we are very cautious about the stock. We’d certainly think twice before buying! While we like knowing what’s going on with the insider’s ownership and transactions, we make sure to also consider what risks are facing a stock before making any investment decision. When we did our research, we found 6 warning signs for Proton Motor Power Systems (3 are concerning!) that we believe deserve your full attention.
