Aurora plots ?significant? US marijuana entry in ?very short period?

Canada?s largest medical cannabis company by revenue and production is planning to make a ?significant? splash in the near future on another point of entry in the U.S. market, one of the company?s executives said in an interview.

Aurora, based in Edmonton, Alberta, already has arms-length involvement in the United States through Australis Capital, a Las Vegas-based investment group it spun off a year ago.

In a conference call with investors a day after releasing its earnings, CEO Terry Booth said Aurora is ?laser focused? on exploring opportunities in the U.S. involving CBD derived from hemp.

Aurora?s strategic partners and Australis ?are helping us talk to some of the top companies in the world,? he said on the call.

Im letzten Quartal Q4 2019 verringerte sich der Cashbestand von 346 Millionen auf 172 Millionen!
174 Millionen Kanadische Dollar weniger in 3 Monaten !!!
Cash (172 Millionen) und Marketable securities (143 Millionen) reichen bei diesem Tempo der Geldverbrennung noch für 6 Monate.

Sinkt der Kurs weiter, hat Aurora Probleme die bald notwendige neue Finanzierung zu bekommen.
Banken werden einer Firma die so schnell Geld verbrennt wie Aurora und deren Kurs nach unten rauscht keine großen Kredite geben.

Wird in einen fallenden Kurs hinein die nächste Kapitalerhöhung angekündigt, drückt das den Kurs ganz heftig nach unten.
Aurora braucht einen finanzstarken optimistischen und sehr geduldigen Partner, oder Aurora kann die weitere Expansion (z.B. nach Amerika) kaum finanzieren.

wenn eine Finanzierung erforderlich ist...
Gehe aber auch nur nach Chart...5$ könnte eine starke Unterstützung sein...
letzter Halt wäre dann noch die 4$ Marke..
Danach heißt es halten ...oder aussteigen....
Leider wächst das Zeug wie Unkraut und jede Klitschee kann es machen...
Gibt genug die es selber anbauen....  :-))

Wird interessanter, wenn die Produktionsmenge vervierfacht wird [soll] . Bis dahin muss Aurora Cash generieren, ich hoffe natürlich nicht das neue Anteile ausgegeben werden, denn 1,2 Milliarden sind schon ne Menge.  

Ihre Zahlen verbessern und weniger Geld verbrennen, als wie eine Kaufsüchtige umherziehen als würde das Geld stetig aufgefüllt.

The Company also announced today that it has granted an aggregate of 2,114,703 stock options, 33,186 deferred share units ("DSUs") and 376,895 restricted share units ("RSUs") to directors and officers of the Company. The stock options are exercisable at a price of $7.91 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant. Both options and RSUs vest annually over 36 months and the DSUs vest quarterly over 12 months.

McConnell puts pressure on FDA to expedite CBD rules

The senator most responsible for legalizing hemp is now trying to use a legislative finance maneuver to speed up federal rules on putting hemp extracts in food and beverages.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, introduced new language that would require the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to issue an ?enforcement discretion policy and appropriate regulatory activities? on the sale of hemp-derived CBD products.

FDA?s stance that it is illegal for CBD to be recognized as an ingredient for food, beverages or dietary supplements for interstate commerce continues is a ?primary policy challenge? facing businesses in the hemp and CBD industries, the U.S Hemp Roundtable, an industry advocacy group, said in a Tuesday advisory.

The U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture was set to review McConnell?s report Tuesday while the full Senate Appropriations Committee plans to review the language Thursday before it is sent to the Senate floor.

The maneuver would require FDA to:

? Provide Congress with a report outlining efforts to develop an enforcement discretion policy on hemp-derived CBD. A process for which CBD meets the definition of hemp will be evaluated for use in products within 90 days.

? Issue a formal enforcement discretion policy on products containing hemp-derived CBD within 120 days.

? Keep the enforcement discretion policy in effect until the agency has implemented its final regulatory process.

? Ensure that CBD manufacturers will be able to share safety data through existing FDA notification procedures to be fully compliant with federal law and policy.

"I think that?s common knowledge out there in the markets, and we are laser-focused on CBD derived from hemp and the various opportunities that exist in that. When USA passed the Farm Act, they leapfrogged across the rest of the world or over the rest of the world in CBD-derived from hemp. Some call it the CBD frenzy, but I don?t believe it is because we know that it works, and having it be scheduled in the U.S. is a tremendous boom to the CBD industry and our strategic partners in Trian Capital are helping us talk to some of the top companies in the world with respect to that in itself. There?re a couple of more hurdles with the CBD industry, including the FDA ruling on ingestibles, and we have a good idea on how that?s going to go."

Es ist noch ein weiter Weg bis 1 Euro, aber der Aurora Kurs scheint die Richtung gefunden zu haben ...

Das glaube ich auch bald. Der Kurs will sich nicht erholen. Die Aktie ist ein Paradebeispiel für einen bilderbuchartigen Abwärtstrend. Diese Grafik kommt bestimmt irgendwann in so einem Börsenbuch vor.  

heisst es nurnoch abwarten - mein nachkauf zu 5,31 am 12.9 um mein EK zu glätten lief auch schief. Bin jetzt mit 5.000? drin, und bei -30%, wenn nachkauf (maximal 1000? nochmal) dann nur wenns wieder hoch geht :(  

bei 5 ist gefallen, der Weg nach unten ist frei. Hmmm, okay, ich warte noch :-)  

4,23 geknackt wird, dann geht es ordentlich runter, leider. So einen Wert hatte ich auch noch nicht im Depot. Da hab ich mir was eingehandelt.  

Es wird sicher bald wieder hoch gehen.
Rein charttechnisch scheint der Absturz zu steil.
Substantiell ist Aurora in meinen Augen selbst bei einem Kurs von 1 Euro kein Kauf.
Aurora erkauft sich sein Wachstum mit substantiellen Cashverlusten.
Es gibt einen Goodwill von über 3 Milliarden und immaterielle Vermögenswerte von über 700 Millionen, die wie Mienen in der Bilanz lauern.
Geht der Cashverlust im Tempo des letzten Quartals weiter, ist in 6 Monaten die Kasse leer.
Das Management gönnt sich derweil beeindruckend große Aktienenoptionsprogramme.
Mit guten Geschichten steigt der Kurs auch wieder, wenn sich der Cannabishype nochmal wiederbeleben lässt.

ich war mindestens 2x gut in plus und jetzt ca 50% in minus....jetzt ist guter rat teuer......

EigeneArt, wenn Du Aurora Cannabis gut findest und glaubst das mit dem Geschäft Aurora in 5 Jahren so viel verdient, das eine Marktkapitalisierung von 5 Milliarden passt, dann bleib drin, verkauf keine Aktien.
Wenn Du nicht mehr glaubst, das Aurora in 5 Jahren 300 bis 400 Millionen Nettogewinn im Jahr macht, dann Verkauf lieber jetzt als später.
Du musst abschätzen, ob der Dampfer Aurubis schwimmt und gut unterwegs ist, oder ob der Dampfer ehr sinkt.
Nicht am sinkenden Schiff festhalten!
In meinen Augen liegt Aurora tief im Wasser und hat nur noch wenig Kohle für die Kessel.

nochmal verbilligen wenn die Position nicht schon zu groß ist und die Sache laufen lassen.
Cannabisaktien können schnell auch wieder drehen und aufeinmal stehen wir wieder doppelt so hoch?!

Mal schauen was in den nächsten 6 -12 Monaten so geht hier :)

Derzeit sind die Aktien der Cannabis-Unternehmen charttechnisch deutlich angeschlagen. Mittlerweile haben sie aber ein langfristig hochattraktives Niveau zum Einstieg erreicht. Anleger sollten deswegen Werte wie Aurora Cannabis, Canopy Growth und Aphria unbedingt auf ihre Watchlist packen und spätestens bei einem positiven charttechnischen Signal zugreifen.

die aquisitionen sind mit aktienanteilen bezahlt seitens aurora nicht in cash ! man schaue sich den sektor + alllgemein markt an dies ist kein aurora thema .. dagegen hält es sich noch gut ..
